Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Attune ("Attune", "we", "us") when you use Attune and buy a Couple Report. By taking the quiz or buying a report, you accept them.
1. What Attune is — and what it is not
Attune asks you a set of questions about how you relate to other people and reflects your own answers back to you as a written report, using language drawn loosely from attachment and conflict-style research.
Attune is not therapy, counselling, medical or mental-health care, or professional advice of any kind. It does not diagnose anything. It is not a validated psychometric instrument, its results have not been clinically tested, and no part of it predicts whether a relationship will last, succeed, or fail. The “Relationship Fit” percentage is a descriptive summary of the answers two people gave, not a measurement of compatibility. Do not use it to make decisions you would otherwise take to a professional.

2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old. Attune is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the service, write to support@attune.app and we will delete the result.
3. No account — your link is your access
Attune has no login. Your result lives in your browser and behind an unguessable link. Two consequences follow, and both are yours to manage:
- If you clear your browser storage, switch devices, or lose the link, we may have no way to identify your result and restore it to you — including a report you have paid for.
- Anyone you give the link to can see what it opens. Treat an invite link like a private message, not a public post.
4. Inviting someone else
When you send an invite link you are asking another person to answer personal questions and to share those answers with you. You may only send it to someone you know and who is willing to receive it. You must not use invite links to pressure, monitor, surveil, or profile anyone, and you must not send them to someone under 18.
The person you invite can withdraw their answers at any time from their own copy of the report, or by writing to us. If they do, the joint report they were part of stops being available — including if you have paid for it. That is their right, and buying the report does not override it.
5. The Couple Report
The free part of Attune is the personal report and the first half of the couple report. The Couple Report unlock is a one-time purchase of $9.99 for one result. It is not a subscription; nothing recurs and there is nothing to cancel.
Payment is taken by Polar, which acts as the merchant of record and seller for the transaction; their terms and privacy policy also apply to the payment itself. We never see or store your card details. Access is granted as soon as Polar confirms the payment, normally within a few seconds.
One report needs only one payment. Both people in a couple see the same paywall, so if the report is already unlocked when you click, we send you back to the report instead of taking a second payment. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Fair use
You agree not to:
- submit answers on someone else's behalf, or pretend to be someone you are not;
- resell, republish, or redistribute report content commercially, or present it as your own product;
- scrape the service, automate requests, probe result identifiers, or otherwise try to reach data that is not yours;
- use Attune to harass, coerce, or make decisions about another person's employment, housing, credit, insurance, or safety.
7. Content and ownership
The questions, scoring, report text, and design are ours. Your answers are yours. When you buy a Couple Report you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read, save, and share your own report — that is all you need, and all it grants.
8. Availability
Attune is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or preserved indefinitely, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely within 30 days of your purchase, write to us and we will refund it.
9. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Attune is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any decision you or anyone else makes on the basis of a report. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer, which remain unaffected.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially we will publish the new version here with a new version number and effective date. The version in force when you took the quiz or made a purchase is the one that governs it — we record which version that was.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country and may bring proceedings there. Before starting any formal dispute, please write to us — almost everything is faster to fix by email.
